ITINERARYITINERARY
You meet at a central meeting point at h 13.15 in order to start your tour. Your English-speaking guide will take you from the center of the city to the main places in the area. Highlights include:
  • Central Cathedral
  • Qurikancha Temple - main temple during the Inca era
  • Saksaywaman citadel ruins
  • Q'inqu archeological site
  • Puka Pukara military ruins
  • Amazing Tambomachay Inca site
The tour finishes at around 18.30 pm back in th city centre.

IMPORTANT INFORMATIONIMPORTANT INFORMATION
  • This tour involves walking and Cusco is at a high altitudes of more than 3000 m, but this activity is not tough and is perfect to get acclimatized if you just got there. The sun can be strong so sunglasses and sun cream are essential.
  • Entrance fees are not included in the price - see here for more info. Peru government offers a ticket called Boleto Turistico General which includes the entrance to 14 sites and lasts for 10 days (130 soles), or a Boleto Turistico Parcial lasting 1 day and including entrance to 4 sites. Cathedral and Qurikancha temples have separate entrance fees of 25 and 15 soles respectively. We are not responsible for changes in the entrance fees.
  • Group sizes are usually from 5 to 23 people but the guide will be able to full interact with everyone.
